The U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center Oral History Collection consists of transcripts created by the many oral history programs and projects administered by the U.S. Army Military History Institute. These include detailed biographical publications produced by the Senior Officer Oral History Program, collected interviews that examine events or topics of interest to the army and debriefings of general officers and senior civilians serving in the Department of the Army.

We will be adding more digitized oral histories from our collections, which will continue to be seen here in ever increasing numbers. With such an immense and diverse collection, it will be many years before a sizeable percentage of our holdings will be available online. However, researchers are welcome to visit us to view our collections or to SUBMIT AN INQUIRY.
